Seed bombs, also known as seed balls or earth balls, are balls of seeds, clay, compost and chilli powder.   Each seed bomb is its own little ecosystem with enough nutrition to get the seeds started and help them grow.   The seed bomb helps protect the seeds inside from being eaten by birds, slugs and snails, allowing them to germinate when they are ready.  Seed Bombs can be scattered or planted at anytime, but for best results, you should ideally scatter seed bombs in the spring or autumn, when the weather is not too hot or cold, and there is enough natural rainfall for the clay to breakdown and the seeds to start germinating.   

Our seed bombs measure approximately 20mm in diameter and each of our seed bombs contain approximately 100 seeds.
